Students eligible for the 2025 commencement ceremonies include those who have completed or are on track to complete their degree requirements in the following terms:
Additionally, all students from January–December 2025 who are enrolled in the MPA program and any of our 2024 online programs are also eligible to participate.

The West Coast University will celebrate their Texas 2025 Commencement Ceremonies on Friday, November 21, at the Plano Event Center (2000 E Spring Creek Pkwy, Plano, TX 75074). In order to accommodate the full class, there will be two ceremonies.
Graduate Programs and Online Undergraduate Programs Ceremony: 12:30 p.m.
WCU-TX Undergraduate Ceremony: 4:30 p.m.
More details including the timeline for the day, guest experience, the Plano Event Center, and other logistics will be sent via WCU email.
As new details are finalized, we will continue to provide updates on this website. Graduates also will receive information via email.
Regalia may be ordered through Acheivers. The deadline to order is November 7, 2024 . All regalia ordered will be shipped via Achievers to the address provided at the point of order.
Regalia is required to be worn to attend and participate in commencement. Learn more about regalia requirements here.

Graduates and their guests should plan to be at the Plano Event Center at least 1 hour prior to the ceremony. We expect the ceremony to last approximately 2 hours. Additional schedule details will be sent to graduates via WCU email.
Guest tickets will be distributed once registration closes.
Hooding will take place onstage by the program dean during the graduate recognition portion of the ceremony.
Students in Pending Graduate Status may print a verification of enrollment letter, which includes your anticipated graduation date, directly from the student portal.

When applying for a visa, graduates should provide both the verification letter along with the Commencement invitation email from West Coast University.
