Students eligible to participate in the Summer 2026 California Commencement and Hooding Ceremonies are those with a projected graduation date between January 1, 2026 and June 30, 2026.
In accordance with the Student Handbook, the following eligibility guidelines apply:

Students must complete all of their program's graduation requirements.
Early Participation Option
Based on space availability, students with a projected graduation date within the parameter listed above, who are active in their final term may request participate in commencement prior to completing all graduation requirements.
Participation in commencement does not constitute degree completion.
The West Coast University Summer 2026 Commencement and Hooding Ceremonies will take place on Friday, June 12 at the Honda Center (2695 E Katella Ave, Anaheim, CA 92806) at 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
The expected duration for ceremonies is 1.5 hours, we ask that you and your guests stay for the duration of the ceremony.
Graduate and guest tickets are distributed electronically. Upon completing registration through the official WCU Commencement platform, students receive a unique link and instructions to claim their tickets. We are excited to celebrate our Summer 2026 graduates and invite family and friends who are unable to attend in person to join us virtually. Each ceremony will be livestreamed to allow loved ones near and far to share in this special moment.

Pre-paid parking is highly recommended. The Honda Center is providing a discounted parking rate for all commencement attendees, to pre-pay for parking please visit this link.
Due to the ongoing Honda Center construction, guests should arrive at least 60 minutes early. Note that some roads, such as eastbound Cerritos Avenue at Sunkist Street, close two hours before events. Douglass Road between Katella Avenue and Stanley Cup Way is permanently closed.

There will be a guest services team available at the Honda Center to assist with seating as needed on commencement day. Hooding will take place onstage during the graduate recognition portion of the ceremony.
Students in Pending Graduate Status may print a verification of enrollment letter, which includes your anticipated graduation date, directly from the student portal. Follow this guide for assistance. When applying for a visa, students should provide both the verification letter along with the Commencement invitation email from West Coast University.
